A Near Jellyfish Disaster

Today my friend, Heather, and I went to the beach for a quick swim. It was a glorious day and I am really bummed that I forgot my camera to document it. Anyway, we swam in the Gulf (which she thought was cold, but I was thrilled because I wasn't numb!) and almost got attacked by a jellyfish. I am not quite sure how I happened to notice it, because it is clear and really easy to miss - however it was inbetween us and probably 2 feet away from both of us. Thankfully, we both got away OK! I will need to make sure to keep a watchful eye for those suckers in the future, because it is definitely wonderful swimming in the water!
