Tonight my friend, Amy, and I decided to combine our love for cookies and sugar-y goodness into one fantastic dessert. We made a chocolate and vanilla cookie dough base and then made unique cookies using 12 different "mix-ins" : chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, heath bar, roasted pecans, m&m's, chocolate rocks, marshmellows, chocolate covered graham crackers, pop rocks, nerds, and dried cherries. As you can imagine, some cookies turned out better than others - but all were fun to make! We took requests from each of the kids, which usually combined nerds, pop rocks, M&M's, and chocolate chips. Yummy... :)

The pink speckles are melted pop rocks. :) And, for the record, they unfortunately don't pop after they have been cooked.
"Someone" loves M&M's!
Paul actually ate the cookie stuffed with nerds and strawberry pop rocks. GROSS!!
